Meet Lori
Lori Ann Roper was born and raised on the Southside of Chicago. She attended Chicago Public Schools, received her Bachelors Degree from Roosevelt University, and graduated from Ohio Northern University School of Law. She currently resides in Calumet Heights with husband, Troy and foster dog Shadow.

Lori was licensed to practice law in Illinois in 1994. She is an Attorney Supervisor with the Law Office of the Cook County Public Defender. Lori has spent her 29 year career assigned to various divisions throughout the office. She is litigated various cases from First Degree murder to Retail Theft.

Lori was formerly in charge of Problem Solving Courts for the Public Defenders Office. These courts include: Mental Health Court, Drug Court, Veterans Court, and Restorative Justice Community Court located in North Lawndale.

Lori is a Board Member for the Cook County Bar Association, Chairperson of the Law Day committee, and 35 year member with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. A Public Service Sorority.
